Today’s time for great news. I’ve recently seen such a great documentary that’s so much worth sharing with you guys. It’s about The Men Who Built America. You beautifully get wrapped up in the history of how the most important things in America and even in the world got into being. Cornelius Vanderbilt, John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, J.P. Morgan and Thomas Edison are the great minds this mini-series speaks about. These men constructed a bold vision for a modern America and transformed the greatest industries of our time, including rail, oil, steel, shipping, automobiles and finance.
At the end of the Civil War, America was seen as a nation decaying from the inside. But through these influential builders, dreamers and believers, just 50 years later it got to be the greatest economic and technological superpower the world had ever seen. The story of a nation at the crossroads and of the people who catapulted it to prosperity.
“America wasn’t discovered, it was built.”
It’s about competition, risk, adventure, the pleasure of making things up, rivalry, turnovers, willpower and guts!
It’s time you start thinking big!
Here you have the trailer to get you curious.
